Tallebung (100% SKY)

The Tallebung Project is Sky Metals’ flagship development asset, located approximately 70km north-west of Condobolin in central-western NSW.
Tallebung is a Tin-Tungsten-Silver Project with a completed Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) demonstrating strong economics with high-margin tin-tungsten-silver production potential, low capital intensity, and a clear pathway toward production.
Tallebung is in the Cobar Shire, a strong mining jurisdiction with existing infrastructure. Simple, single open pit mining and outstanding metallurgical performance uniquely Tallebung places to become a strategic supplier of critical metals essential for all modern electronics, semiconductors including the growing demand for semiconductors in data centres as well as renewable energy and defence applications.
The Tallebung Project is the site of large-scale historical tin mining in central Western NSW with tin first discovered in the 1890s. The project hosts one of Australia’s largest undeveloped tin resources and benefits from exceptional ore sorting and preconcentration performance, enabling low-cost processing and significant environmental advantages with reduce water and power requirements amongst other benefits.

The updated Resource significantly exceeds the previous Exploration Target and remains open in all directions, providing substantial potential for future resource growth and mine life extensions.
Further drilling is ongoing to target additional resource growth, upgrade Resource confidence and extend the future mine life to support Tallebung as a long life critical metals producer.

Pre-Feasibility Study Highlights
The Pre Feasibility Study (PFS) completed in August 2026 confirms Tallebung as a simple, robust and low-risk potential critical minerals development opportunity with strong margins and rapid capital recovery.
The Tallebung Tin-Tungsten Project is proposed as a 3Mtpa open cut project with a very low life-of-mine 1.99:1 strip ratio.
The PFS was based on an initial mine life is estimated at 7.3 years based on only 66% of the total current MRE with ongoing work anticipated to continue to extend this mine life substantially.
This delivered average annual production of:
- 2,040 tonnes of tin
- 31,700 mtu of tungsten trioxide
- 315,000 ounces of silver
The PFS indicates a low pre-production capital cost of A$138.8 million, short lead times for required equipment and plant with a rapid seven month construction schedule.


Outstanding Processing Characteristics
SKY aims to be an industry leader in environmental and sustainability practices. Tin at Tallebung is in a mineral called cassiterite and forms large “nuggets”. This makes it ideal to process using ore sorting technology and simple gravity processing presenting many environmental benefits.
This enables the Tallebung process to produce tin-tungsten-silver products without the use of large-scale chemical processes as ore sorting and preconcentration before simple gravity processing just use water and compressed air to concentrate the tin-tungsten-silver into a gravity concentrate for separation and sale.
Demonstration of Ore Sorting Process
The application of TOMRA Ore Sorting at Tallebung requires no use of water or chemicals and reduces the total mass for further processing by over 80%. Therefore, the technology significantly reduces the amount of water used for processing by 80% or 4/5th, less than 1/5th of water and power is now required. Further work is planned to determine the suitability of the rejected Ore Sorting mass for use as barren waste material which may be suitable for sheeting roads or to be sold for use in other regional construction projects.
In addition to the Ore Sorting benefits, the gravity processing method only uses water through the plant to concentrate the tin-tungsten-silver at Tallebung and recycles this water throughout the plant. This further reduces any future water requirements and avoids requiring large-scale chemical processing required by many other tin-tungsten-silver operations.
The combination of TOMRA Ore Sorting and simple gravity concentration reduces waste, reduces water and eliminates the need to use large quantities of chemicals for mining and processing at Tallebung.
Existing Infrastructure Advantages
The project is centred on the historical Tallebung Tin Field where numerous phases of mining activity have occurred over more than 100 years since its discovery in the 1890s. This activity targeted the high-grade quartz-lodes and the alluvial/colluvial material with a combined estimated historical production of 3,350 tonnes of tin concentrate. SKY is now targeting bulk tonnage tin mineralisation underlying these areas of historical mining.
This past mining activity and previous site disturbance at Tallebung reduces the project’s development complexity and means much of the costly infrastructure required to support a mining operation is already in place. This includes powerlines to site, all-weather haul roads to site and within the site.
The location of the Tallebung Project only 70km from Condobolin provides access to a nearby workforce and established services to support the project’s development and the local community.

Environmental Studies and Development Approvals
Weather station installation, groundwater monitoring bores, geochemical studies and initial biodiversity studies have already been implemented to support the development approval process.
The early implementation of these processes has been instrumental in the rapid advancement through the approvals process required to commence mining at the Tallebung Project.
Studies are continuing as SKY progresses the Tallebung Project through the NSW State Signifcant Development (SSD) approvals towards future production of critical metals.
High-Grade Growth Potential
Recent drilling has continued to identify shallow, high-grade mineralisation outside the current mine plan and resource model, including:
- TBRC427: 9m @ 0.54% tin, 0.11% tungsten and 205g/t silver from 67m
- TBRC436: 14m @ 0.58% tin and 0.04% tungsten from 1m
- TBRC218: 6m @ 1.32% tungsten, 20.2g/t silver and 0.10% tin from 21m
These results demonstrate the significant potential to grow both the Mineral Resource and mine life through ongoing drilling programs.
Ongoing drilling programs are planned at the Tallebung Project to upgrade existing Inferred Resources to Measured and Indicated status, and to continue to extend the Resource beyond the existing envelope.


Next Steps
Sky Metals is now progressing the Tallebung Project towards development with the aim to commence production by mid 2028 and establish Sky Metals as a new Australian producer of tin, tungsten and silver.
A Definitive Feasibility Study and Environmental Impact Statement are now underway alongside continued engagement with community and stakeholders and further drilling to support resource growth.
