Company Overview
Sky Metals Limited (ASX:SKY) is an ASX listed public company focused on the development and exploration of mineral resources in Australia.
SKY’s project portfolio offers exposure to the tin market, where a long term growth in prices reflects challenged supply and growing demand amid new applications of the metal. Continued reliance on tin for soldering makes it an irreplaceable metal for renewable resources and modern technology.
SKY owns 100% of the Tallebung and Doradilla Projects in New South Wales and is committed to adding value through the application of modern exploration techniques at these high quality tin projects. Already SKY has defined a +10Mt maiden inferred mineral resource estimate at Tallebung and at Doradilla, SKY has recently discovered large, widespread, and high-grade REE mineralisation in the thick layers of clays overlying the Doradilla Project.
SKY’s project portfolio also offers exposure to gold, copper and other critical metals projects in the world class mining jurisdiction of NSW. SKYs gold exploration strategy is focused on the identification and efficient testing of advanced McPhillamys-type, gold targets in the Late Silurian stratigraphy of NSW. The strategy leverages the experience of SKY’s team during the discovery and delineation of the McPhillamys Gold Deposit (60.1Mt @ 1.05g/t Au for 2.03MOz; ASX RRL 8 September 2017).
SKY’s gold projects in NSW includes a Joint Venture with Develop Global Ltd (ASX:DVP) over the Cullarin (EL7954) and Kangiara (EL8400, 8573) Projects (SKY 80%) and three 100% SKY projects – Caledonian (EL8920), Murrum (EL9120) and Tirrana (EL9048).
SKYs copper-gold exploration strategy is focused on the identification of advanced projects that can be rapidly expanded by drill testing.
